Tim & Jenn's Python Links

Our original intention was to provide a full script for Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail on this page. Then we looked at how much memory the bloody thing takes up, and how much memory we had left on the bloody server, and what we'd have to go through to get permission to put the bloody thing up in the first place, and reconsidered. So instead, we've decided to go the cheapie route, and provide a link to a python site that already has the script. Pretty bloody clever, huh?

Monty Python's PythonNet
This site wasn't really dead...it was just resting! This is a fine site, with a great deal of fun graphics, resources, and games. It was originally on AOL, then unaccountably disappeared for a time. It has since been resurrected with its own domain name (pythonet.org), and is back in full, silly swing. Highly recommended.

Monty Python Pages
A very cool Python site, with lots of fun stuff: sounds, biographies and anecdotes, wallpaper, sketches and, of course, silly walks.

Chris Lundie's Monty Python Movie Sounds
Chris Lundie's original site is gone, but his WAV files can be found on this site. Warning: If you have an older browser, you may wish to turn off javascript before you follow this link; otherwise, the Amazon.com ad may screw you up.

Pythonline
This is the official Monty Python web site. It's orientation is mostly commercial, but it has a lot of interesting material.

Monty Python's Flying Circus in Australia
*thumps, crashes, screams* "I think she's dead." "No I'm not." *more thumps, crashes, screams* This is simply the best Python site on the net. It contains scripts for all of the movies and all of the shows, and lots of other features. As an added bonus, the script for "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" is linked to several megs worth of sound files (in RealAudio format).
